Unnerving Nerves

Though it’s been over three days since my oral surgery, my chin, lower front teeth, the left side of my lower lip and my left cheek are still partially numb and tingling. Make Me a Pallet on the Floor

I’m already tired of smoothies. The one I’m nursing now contains bananas, yogurt, strawberries, milk, orange juice, grape juice, mangoes, peaches, and lemon-lime fizzy water. Luckily, the alternating combination of Tylenol and Motrin is keeping the pain mostly at bay, as long as I don’t open my mouth.
