Fly Away

Sorry I haven’t written here for a long time. I’ve been working on writing my story about Nepal and I’ll post it when I’m done. I hope it’ll be complete by the end of June. Stay tuned.

In the meantime, I’m in the Sacramento Airport where, upon arrival, I was informed that Terminal B is closed due to a suspected bomb. Dogs and squads are on their way. In the meantime, I’m in Terminal A, gazing out at Terminal B and hoping it keeps its distance.

I stopped in Davis on the way here to see Lulu. Walking to lunch we passed an overturned milk crate and an empty paper cup, against which was leaned a hand-lettered sign on cardboard: “Back in 10 Minutes.” I admire a responsible panhandler.
